Fox Version 2 - SB-Fv2
Modular Airborne MANET Amplifier System

Modular MANET amplifier designed as a roll-on/roll-off package for your airborne platform of choice.  It can be operational and providing an extensive data bubble in as little as two minutes. When equipped with an MPU-5 it has been demonstrated to digitally connect ground nodes from over 100 miles from the aircraft. Silvus and Trellisware equipped radios including the Harris PRC-163, should expect even greater ranges—and when paired with the ShadowBox Echo, enables truly global red-network bridging.  It can also be used on the ground as a rapidly deployable mobile or fixed-site MANET amplifier increasing range and signal strength without the need for external devices or power sources.

Rugged, Roll-On/Roll-Off Ready

  • 20 W multi-channel MANET amplification with internal BB-2590 battery and pass-through charging

  • Compatible with MPU-5, TrellisWare TW400/800, Silvus 4200/4400 radios

  • Rugged, compact form factor optimized for ground, vehicle, and airborne operations

  • Roll-on, roll-off ready — installs rapidly across platforms like C-130, KC-135, C-17, UH-60, C-145, C-146, CV-22, and more without modification to the aircraft or supplemental type certificate (STC) requirement.

Proven Airborne Performance

During a U.S. Air Force operational test aboard a KC-135, the ShadowBox Fox demonstrated successful airborne MANET networking exceeding 100 miles, showcasing its capability to maintain communication in contested and long-distance environments.

Seamless Ecosystem Integration

  • 8 hours endurance with hot-swappable BB-2590 power with pass-through charging.  Charges from 12 V, 120 V, or 240 V inputs for flexible deployment

  • Works in tandem with ShadowBox Echo for Multi-Network Bridging (MNB) — enabling encrypted data flow across commercial, satellite, and LOS networks worldwide

  • Fully interoperable with the wider ShadowBox ecosystem — including Alpha, Delta, and Vault systems

Take long-range MANET to new heights—extend operations across continents with airborne-ready hardware that integrates with existing radios and networks.
